This is a piquant speculation. Such a thing has never occurred to me, but rolling it around my head it does sound plausible, at least as a minor tactic in the arsenal of the men-in-black psychologists. I wonder how this function might play into the contrivance of rap music, which has many tales of artificial pushing by quasi-official forces.

When I look at the photo of the soldier, I don't see a jew, I see a soldier carrying out the orders of the Israeli government. People, jews or gentiles, don't make wars. Governments make wars. I, an American Christian, have a lot in common with the people of Israel. But I have nothing in common with the governments and politicians in any country, i.e. the people who make the wars.

Governments claim to be 'the people'. But that's a lie. Only governments make wars and the people suffer from them.

I think there's a bit of leeway, if the higher command don't care then bad men will do bad things, but good men will generally refrain. I mean, if you were in uniform I guess there are things (e.g. rape, torture of civilians) you wouldn't do even if told your officers would look the other way.

Well, there have been videos posted of them luring kids out toward food and shooting them. And, of Israelis gloating at kids dying. They post on /pol/. I'm sure you'd have to see it to be convinced, though. I think they're so morally ugly that we don't want to look at it fully, don't want to have to deal with it. It's like, just like it's easier to think of blacks as whites with black skin, so that all you have to do is be nice, help them a bit and they'll come around (and this is wrong) - we have to see that Jews are also, /truly different/. 'Semitic', where we're still getting to know what that word means. At least a significant subsection of them.
